Mozzarella meatballs, for the days you want comfort and nourishment in one bowl.
Sometimes holistic eating just means a proper, slow-simmered meal made with real ingredients. These meatballs are packed with protein to support muscle repair, blood sugar balance and keeping you fuller for longer, with a melty mozzarella centre because joy is part of nourishment too.

Mozzarella meatballs
Ingredients:
10 meat balls
500g minced beef
1 egg
100g mozzarella
500g passata
1 onion
1 clove garlic
Dried oregano
Sea salt
Parmesan
Method:
Start by making your passata, finely chop your onion, sautee it with a little EVOO, until it takes colour and starts to soften.
Add in your passata, some oregano and sea salt. Stir to combine.
Now, add your minced beef, some oregano, sea salt and your egg to a bowl. Mix together to combine.
Divide the mix into 10, add a little mozzarella to the centre of each, roll them into a tight ball and place to one side.
Lightly oil a pan with EVOO, bring to the heat, seal your meatballs on each side until they have a little colour.
Remove from the heat.
Add your sauce into a large sauce pot, add the meatballs to the pot.
Cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes or so until cooked.
Serve with a lotta Parmesan and enjoyyyy!
