Spiced Matcha with Coconut Cream

A warming, nourishing drink perfect for the seasonal shift. This creamy matcha latte combines antioxidant rich matcha with lightly spiced coconut cream for a comforting and energising beverage. Spices are known to stimulate blood flow and warm us up - making this the perfect sip for the cooler winter months. 

 

Ingredients (serves 1)

1 double shot matcha
Coconut milk, to fill ¾ of your glass
100 g coconut whipping cream
1 tsp maple syrup
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp allspice
¼ tsp nutmeg

 

Method

Prepare the matcha: Make a double shot of matcha and pour it into a glass. Top up until three-quarters full with coconut milk.

Whip the cream: In a stand mixer, whip the coconut cream with maple syrup, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg until thick and fluffy.

Assemble: Spoon the spiced coconut cream on top of the matcha. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon if desired.

Serve: Sip slowly and savour the warming flavours.
